The Moore Park Beach annual Festival of Arts is a Spring highlight of the Wide Bay/Burnett Region's cultural scene. ![]() Moore Park Beach Arts Inc. is a unique community group driven to providing an outlet for the many and varied aspects of art in the community. Artists, photographers, sculptors with many other arts and craft groups come together to present their craft. The Art and Photography Exhibition is open to all amateur artists. The Community Hall is filled with Award winning art and photography for the weekend which opens with Award presentations on Friday 17th August. Over the weekend exciting giant kites fill the air above the beach and yet higher up gyrocopters and aeronautical displays skim along the coastline, while on the sand children join with the sand sculptor as he teaches the intricacies of sand moulding. On the Bicentennial Oval, market and food stalls abound providing a backdrop to the exciting displays of horsemanship, Tae kwon do, international dancing, musical entertainment, cheerleading and tumbling. Jumping castle, face painting and Balloon clowns are just a few of the activities to keep the littlies occupied. |
